We are committed to minimising our environmental footprint, with combating climate change as our core strategy. We are systematically moving towards a low-carbon future by laying the foundation through scientific carbon inventories and guiding our actions with a clear dual-carbon roadmap.

In order to actively respond to the national "dual carbon" goal, Guangdong Xinxirang Plastic Technology Co., Ltd. has developed a phased and executable carbon neutral strategy roadmap to ensure that our emission reduction actions resonate with the global climate goals.

2. Carrying out carbon inventories: mapping out the family tree and applying accurate measures

Accurate data is the prerequisite for all actions to reduce emissions. We are establishing a systematic and regular carbon management system.

- Comprehensive inventory:

◦ Scope 1 (direct emissions): Accurate statistics on direct emissions from the combustion of fossil fuels in our own boilers and company vehicles.

◦ Scope 2 (Indirect Emissions): Accurately account for indirect emissions from purchased electricity, which is currently the focus of our carbon footprint.

◦ Scope 3 (Value Chain Emissions): Progressively initiate an inventory of upstream and downstream carbon emissions, including raw material extraction and transport, ex-factory transport of products, the customer use phase, and final disposal. This will help us identify the points with the greatest potential for emission reductions.

- Digital management:

◦ Introduce a carbon management software platform to enable real-time collection, calculation and analysis of carbon emissions data to improve management efficiency and data accuracy.

◦ Establish carbon accounts to prepare for possible future carbon trading and product carbon labelling certification.

- Guiding decision-making:

◦ Carbon inventory results will directly guide our decisions on energy-saving investments, process improvements, raw material substitution and supply chain optimisation, ensuring that every cent invested yields the greatest emission reduction benefits. 2030 Phase (Tackling Period)
